So that those who pass by it

So that those who come to it with joy
Will go from it with greater joy,
And those who come troubled, will go feeling peace;
So that all will find in it;
Quiet when they need quiet;
Stimulation when they need exercise of thought;
A shelter for body and spirit;
A place to spend solitary hours;
And an opportunity to share with those they love
